The Electrocoustic family is a series of instruments dedicated to electronic sound from an accoustic source. Creating a soundboard and having those sounds run through twisted circuitry, or very straightforward processing. The sound can be either microscopic or extremely large. This is partially determined by whether or not a speaker is added to the board. The addition of a speaker creates a thick feedback with the pickup that can be further altered in various ways. The original Harmonic Resonator (top left) was the beginning of this concept for me and The Garden (second down on the left) is where the idea has gone. It's fascinating and limitless and will mostly likely be where most of my current instrumental and sculptural sound art aspirations will be directed.
